What the role is:
Strategic Planning Group (SPG) is responsible for the long-term strategic use of land in Singapore. We focus on balancing economic growth with a quality living environment. Our prudent land use planning and good urban design has made Singapore one of the most liveable cities in Asia. This opportunity is under SPG.
What you will be working on:
This internship is to facilitate the development of good quality datasets, to enable more robust analytics for informing URA's long-term strategic planning. This involves: a) developing Python scripts on Jupyterhub / ArcGIS to automate data processing and analytics workflows; b) designing data validation checks and troubleshooting guides; c) documenting and sharing data processing methodology with stakeholders. Learning Outcomes The intern is expected to reap the following learning outcomes: o Develop ArcGIS and Python skills o Grow data management skills o Gain appreciation of land use planning issues o Communication and presentation skills
What we are looking for:
Internship Perio Full-time internship from May - Aug 2026 (3-months). About Urban Redevelopment Authority:
