About the role As part of BOSCH’s business expansion strategy, our Automotive Aftermarket Business Unit is seeking for a dynamic and competent Data Engineer to join our team in Singapore office. In this role, you will work in the regional logistics innovation team that is responsible for the design of the Automotive Aftermarket supply chain and logistics processes in Asia Pacific. You will contribution to reach our target of end-to-end transparency, the digitalization of our supply chain and supporting our operational logistics team in planning and operations with flexible data analytics. You will create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture, assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements. You will identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc. You will build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources. You will build analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency, and other key business performance metrics. You will work with stakeholders including the Executive, Product, Data and Design teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs. You will create data tools for analytics and data scientist team members that assist them in building and optimizing our product into an innovative industry leader. You will work with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in our data systems. You will provide technical input on design, development and implementation for major solutions. You must be able to work independently (e.g. individual contributor) as well as in a team (e.g. group contributor). You must have a passion for technology, good communicator, team player, positive and can-do attitude.

Qualifications
Requirements To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems and or another quantitative field with at least 3 years of experience in demand / supply planning function. You must have advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of database. You must be experienced building and optimizing ‘big data’ data pipelines, architectures and data sets, experienced performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement. You should have strong analytic skills related to working with unstructured datasets, to be able to build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload management. You must have successful history of manipulating, processing and extracting value from large disconnected datasets, be skilled in project management and organizational. You must have experience in supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment. You must have good understanding of SAP R/3 incl. data structure. You must have basic knowledge of industrial business processes, knowledge in logistics and supply chain; in Web Portal and mobile development is plus.
