What the role is:

ISD confronts and addresses threats to Singapore\'s internal security and stability. For over 70 years, ISD and its predecessor organisations have played a central role in countering threats such as those posed by foreign subversive elements, spies, racial and religious extremists, and terrorists. You will be part of a technologically advanced team to support the Data Analytics function. You will have opportunities for learning and discovery of new cutting-edge techniques in this specialised domain. You will experience the lifecycle of data ingestion, optimization and data analysis to meet timely delivery of data insights.

What you will be working on:

• Design, build, maintain and optimize data pipeline architecture \xe2\x80\xa2 Collaborate with Data Scientists and Analysts to optimise extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL and Big Data technologies. \xe2\x80\xa2 Evaluate Data Analytics technologies to recommend tools and frameworks to optimize data processing and analysis.

What we are looking for:

• Experience using common scripting languages like Python, SQL, Scala, Spark or Powershell will be preferred \xe2\x80\xa2 Applicants with no experience may apply \xe2\x80\xa2 Good interpersonal and communication skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong analytical skills and able to solve or analyse problems in a systematic manner \xe2\x80\xa2 Able to work both independently and in a team \xe2\x80\xa2 Only Singaporeans need apply We wish to inform that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
