Job Description
Our client is a global oil brokerage firm looking for an experienced data engineer to model, create and develop the backend data architecture. Responsibilities
- Work with business units globally to understand data analytics requirements and converting them into design documentation, encompassing data ingestion and data modeling processes.
- Set up and maintain ETL processes from various data sources to provide high quality data to businesses built on Azure Cloud
- Align to company\xe2\x80\x99s data analytics policy, standards and best practices and document as required
- Over 5 years experience in data engineering, encompassing data modelling, data pipeline development, data architecture, and ETL processes.
- Demonstrated proficiency in writing SQL queries and developing stored procedures in languages including T-SQL
- Proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Azure and related tooling for data engineering, including Synapse and Cosmos DB
- Knowledge of Terraform, Power BI, Python, .NET and C# will be advantageous.
- Strong project management skills;
- Able to pick up new technologies independently
- Analytical, meticulous, able to work independently
- Strong interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with multiple stakeholders; including from research, operations and broking team
- Monday to Friday
