JR29026 DATA MANAGEMENT ANALYST The Data Management Analyst is responsible for identifying master data quality issues by writing comprehensive audits, developing metrics that measure data quality, monitoring metrics for changes in data quality health, and initiating reaction mechanisms with data stewards. The Master Data Management Analyst translates the needs of the business into a pipeline of master data continuous improvement activities. They work to advance maturity in a way that is consistent with industry standards and best practices. Responsibilities Define and develop audits that evaluate master data content with respect to: completeness, validity, relevancy, integrity, consistency, timeliness, efficiency, and accuracy
Participate in the implementation of support structures for mastering data, including: workflows, business rules, standard work, and systems.
Participate in the implementation of master data quality validation mechanisms including manual audits and automation
Standardize master data quality metrics and reports
Understand and close gaps in master data skillset through training
Perform assessments of master data governance, make recommendations for improvement, prepare achievable implementation plans, and coordinate implementation of those plans
Build and maintain relationships with a wide variety of internal organizations to understand future data needs
Build and maintain relationships with data stewards to understand their struggles Competencies and Behaviors Experience with data governance program design and implementation in complex environments
Understanding of enterprise data management concepts and best practices
Continuous improvement methodologies
Experience with business process analysis
Strong emotional intelligence and relationship building ability
Experience with master data quality analysis
Presentation, communication and discussion skills
Self-starter with the initiative to act upon opportunities with little direction and moderate oversight Requirements Proficient in SQL and Excel
Proficient in Python language and Python with Database
Experience (Preferred) 2 to 5 years of experience in data visualization
Experience (Preferred) 2 to 5 years of experience in data quality, data management, or equivalent experience
Experience (Preferred) with master data management and master data governance
Certification (Preferred) - data management, change management, Agile project management, Lean About Micron Technology, Inc.
