JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Based in the Group Data office team, you will be responsible for developing & optimizing Enterprise data pipelines & architecture. These will support analytical & data science needs of various user groups like Consumer banking, Commercial banking, Corporate Banking, etc... across different countries & entities of OCBC.
• Create and maintain the optimal data pipeline architecture to enable transformation & ingestion from a wide variety of structured and unstructured data sources.
• Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery and cleansing/transformation.
• Support development and deployment of applications utilising the data pipelines to provide actionable insights for various use cases across various user divisions

• Minimum 10-15 years of working experience in data management, ETL and analysis functions
• Minimum 5-7 years of working experience in data model enhancement & source to target mapping
• Minimum 3-5 experience in Hadoop Ecosystem using HIVE, Impala, Spark and/or Streaming data systems, Flink, Ozone, Kudu, Solr
• Minimum 1-3 years of working experience in data pipelines for Analytical & Data science projects
• Experience/knowledge in data virtualization tools like Denodo, Starburst, etc...
• Experience in creating data pipelines from various data platforms
• Knowledge/exposure in Microservices & hot layer implementations
• Knowledge in cloud technology & architecture
• Hands-on skills in SQL & PL/SQL
• Experience in end-to-end automation - building procedures, ETL and automated job orchestration - using the tools likes of DataStage, Talend, Kafka, Airflow, Pentaho
• Familiar with banking systems & products
• Knowledge about analytical software tools such as Python / R / SAS / QlikView / Tableau
