Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Data Platform Engineer to join our team on a 24-months' contract basis, where you will be instrumental in building and optimizing our data infrastructure in cloud. This is a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and collaborate across teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions.
Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust data architectures, pipelines, and ETL processes.
• Build and maintain cloud-native data platforms and dashboards to support analytics and reporting needs.
• Ensure high standards of data quality, reliability, and availability across all systems.
• Develop and manage Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment and operations.
• Partner with business units, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
• Optimize data storage and retrieval for performance and cost-efficiency.
• Provide Level 3 support for in-house applications and data platform/warehouse operations.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• 3-5 years of experience in data engineering or similar roles.
• Proven expertise in building and managing data platforms on cloud environments.
• Strong programming skills in SQL, Python, and other relevant languages.
• Hands-on experience with cloud services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Kafka, and Pub/Sub is highly advantageous.
• Experience with IaC tools and CI/CD practices.
• Familiarity with API development using Apigee, integration with Drupal-based developer portals, and monetization models is a strong plus.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
