About the Role

We are looking for a proactive DPO/Data Privacy Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our privacy program. This role ensures compliance with data privacy regulations, manages privacy risks, and supports the organization in handling personal data responsibly. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, legal, and business units, to embed privacy practices into processes and projects.

Key Responsibilities

Data Subject Requests & Privacy Inquiries

Manage and respond promptly to privacy-related enquiries, complaints, and requests from individuals. Act as the point of contact for data privacy concerns across the organization.

Privacy Assessments & Third-Party Reviews

Coordinate and execute Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) for new and ongoing initiatives, products, and services. Conduct periodic PIA reviews to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and internal standards. Support third-party privacy assessments and respond to external privacy questionnaires.

Incident & Breach Management

Collect, review, and escalate privacy incidents, coordinating with relevant teams for assessment. Report significant breaches to the group privacy office and ensure appropriate follow-up actions.

Regulatory & Gap Analysis

Monitor changes in privacy regulations and assess organizational compliance gaps. Conduct scenario-based privacy risk assessments and maintain ongoing control reviews.

Training & Awareness

Develop and maintain privacy training materials for staff and agents. Drive awareness campaigns and support the implementation of the privacy champion program across the organization.

Audits & Reporting

Coordinate privacy-related audits and ensure timely resolution of findings. Prepare and submit privacy metrics and reports to stakeholders.

Collaboration & Advisory

Work with internal teams to implement privacy solutions and ensure compliance with local laws (e.g., PDPA) and group policies. Provide guidance on adapting to evolving privacy regulations and best practices.

What We're Looking For

Strong understanding of data privacy laws and regulations, particularly PDPA. Experience in privacy operations, risk management, or compliance. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. * Ability to coordinate multiple privacy initiatives and drive compliance across business units.
