Job Summary Lomotif is seeking a data scientist to join its new Growth Engineering team. The flat-hierarchy team searches for new product opportunities with a great deal of freedom and autonomy. Responsibilities Build models for minimum viable products (MVPs) that help validate product need fit Design, development and evaluation of highly innovative models Researching on ways to build custom data models and algorithms for new product idea As the only data scientist candidate should also be develop processes and test to monitor and analyse model performance and data accuracy Assess the effectiveness of new data sources and data gathering techiniques Includes brainstorming new product ideas that may fit known customer needs Work with two other full time Growth Engineers from Singapore and San Francisco Required skills and Qualifications A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques Strong problem solving skills with an emphasis on product development More than 3+ years of experience in building neural network models (self-taught experience also counts!) Familiar in deploying models with cloud solutions (AWS, Google) Have expertise in SQL (Bonus: Snowflake) and at least one scripting language (ideally Python). Familiar with image and/or video manipulation (e.g. OpenCV) and related computer vision applications (action and face emotion recognition, image/video representation learning) Have experience using open-sourced pre-trained models for downstream ML applications (e.g. Huggingface, Detectron2) Ability to work independently and collaborate with others in a cross-disciplinary team
