About the Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated Data Scientist Intern (DA Team) with strong problem-solving skills to tackle both data science and data analytics challenges. The ideal candidate possesses an analytical mindset, technical proficiency in Python and SQL, and a solid foundation in machine learning or statistical modeling. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to generate actionable insights and support strategic decisions through rigorous analysis and research.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze complex datasets to solve business problems and support decision-making. Design and implement statistical models or machine learning algorithms as needed. Write clean, efficient Python and SQL code to process and analyze data. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to support business strategy. Collaborate with team members across departments to define data requirements and deliver solutions. Present findings clearly through dashboards, visualizations, and reports. Take ownership of projects with high initiative and drive them independently to completion.

Requirements:

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence or a related field. Able to commit to a 6 month internship duration (immediate preferred). Proven experience in data analytics or data science roles. Proficient in Python and SQL. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques or projects. Experience with statistical analysis and forecasting techniques or machine learning. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team. Strong communication skills to explain complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have:

Experience in market research, economics or business analysis. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure). Familiarity with logistics, supply chain, or operations data.
