We are looking for an experienced, technically talented, and highly motivated team player who is a data nerd and has a passion for all things numerical. He/she would be able to perform end-to-end data science and data engineering tasks, but do not fret. We work as a team and collaborate for success. Our ideal candidate has a passion for data and can build systems to provide relevant insights to GetGo to fulfil our mission of enabling the #FreedomToDrive. Key Responsibilities Develop and deliver Advanced Analytics use cases across the different company functions such as Product, Marketing, Operations and Customer Service to improve insights and achieve efficiencies through automation. Build, Maintain and Optimise GetGo's Lakehouse, Data Acquisition and Data Pipelines on Databricks. Implement Data Governance initiatives to improve Data Quality and Integrity. Streamline data flows and models improve consistency, quality, accessibility, and security and, optimise database activity across company needs. Collaborate with internal stakeholders (business analytics, marketing teams etc.) to specify data requirements and develop data marts and feature stores to support data insights to meet company OKRs. Understand and implement distributed relational and tabular data stores, message queues, stream processing facilities, and other scalable big-data platform technologies. Identify key weaknesses in the current data engineering process and spearhead process improvements. Who are we looking for Experience with cloud tools and Big Data technologies like Spark and Hive. Experience with Databricks preferred. Excellent understanding and curiosity in the areas of data science and machine learning frameworks, tools, and algorithms, both for regression and classification problems. Strong technical capabilities and proven expertise in developing and implementing a full range of analytical techniques to address commercial challenges. Good to have knowledge and skills in Python, SQL, JavaScript, Qgis, PySpark, AWS, GeoSpatial Analysis and Data Visualisation. Strong alignment with our GetGo Values: Get it going!
