Job Summary

The ideal candidate will be experienced in using AWS machine learning services to create better user experiences. The candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing cutting-edge data solutions to help our organization meet its business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to scope and define ML tasks for different agencies
• Design and implement ML models and algorithms using AWS machine learning services
• Develop custom data visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights to stakeholders
• Continuously monitor and improve the performance of ML models and algorithms
• Evaluate different model performance to deem suitability for business use
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover patterns and trends in data sets
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to scope and define ML tasks for different agencies
• Develop and maintain databases and data pipelines to support data analysis and modeling
• Communicate complex data insights and findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
• Stay up to date with the latest developments in machine learning and data science

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field preferred
• 3+ years of experience in data science or a related field
• Proficiency in using AWS machine learning services such as SageMaker, Personalize and Kendra preferred
• Experience in using foundation models and fine-tuning them for specific domains
• Proficiency in evaluating the performance of models using industry-standard metrics
• Experience in creating data visualizations and dashboards
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to present complex data insights in a clear and concise manner
• Familiarity with data modeling, machine learning algorithms, and statistical analysis technique
