Job Description

:

• Provide operational support for MS SQL databases, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
• Implement and manage MS SQL AlwaysON Availability Groups for high availability and disaster recovery.
• Perform database hardening to enhance security and ensure compliance.
• Manage database upgrades and apply patches to keep systems up-to-date.
• Monitor database performance and optimize queries to ensure efficient operation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues promptly.
• Support additional database systems including MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Oracle as needed.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to support application deployment and performance tuning.
• Document database configurations, procedures, and best practices.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support.

• Proven experience in MS SQL operation support.
• Hands-on experience with MS SQL AlwaysON Availability Groups installation, hardening, upgrading, and patching.
• Strong understanding of database security best practices.
• Experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Oracle databases is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.

• Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate or similar.
• Experience with database automation tools and scripts.
• Familiarity with cloud-based database solutions.
• Knowledge of data backup, recovery, and disaster recovery techniques.
