Job Description

• Perform the installation, upgrade, versioning and monitoring of Ayala Malls' applications
• Ensure performance, integrity and security of databases
• Responsible in ETL process, and can create SSIS program and packages.
• Involve in planning and development of the databases, as well as in troubleshooting any in issues on behalf of the users, ensuring that the data remains consistent across the database.
• Own projects, solutions, and key responsibilities in assigned projects
• Map out the conceptual design for a planned database
• Refine the logical design so that it can be translated into a specific data model
• Install and test new versions of the database management system
• Maintain data standards, including adherence to the Data Protection Act
• Write database documentation, including data standards, procedures and definitions for the data dictionary (metadata)
• Control access permissions and privileges
• Develop, manage and test back-up and recovery plans
• Carry out capacity planning
• Manage the security and disaster recovery aspects of a database.
• Work closely with IT project manager
• Ensures the security of data, network access, database and backup are strictly implemented for malls Systems, websites, cinemas as well as in all Ayala Malls offices and project sites.
• Manages day to day system and database operations for Ayala Malls Group & its subsidiaries.
• Performs other management mandated functions
