Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Understand the client's business, capabilities, and technical requirements; translate them into data solutions that deliver on performance, scalability, and availability goals. Lead design and development of enterprise-level data solutions in line with proposed architecture. Drive end-to-end data strategy, roadmap, and solution implementation. Define and implement data architecture standards, models, and governance frameworks. Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver integrated data warehouse and BI solutions. Provide architectural guidance, design reviews, and implementation roadmaps. Act as the subject matter expert for architecture, data modeling, and design best practices. Lead data migration, master data management (MDM), and data governance initiatives. Identify and introduce new data technologies to improve scalability, automation, and performance. Contribute to pre-sales efforts, including proposal creation, solution architecture design, and client presentations.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Primary Skills:

10+ years of experience in enterprise data architecture, strategy, and implementation. Strong background in:

Data Architecture: Logical and physical data modeling, enterprise data strategies, data life cycle management.


Data Integration and Warehousing: Inmon and Kimball methodologies, star schemas, normalized/de-normalized models.


Data Migration: Planning, costing, retention, archival, and execution.


Master Data Management (MDM): Execution across multi-domains using tools like Informatica MDM, Talend, Stibo PIM.


Data Governance: Framework design, roadmap, and execution.


Tools: PowerDesigner, ERWin, ArchiMate, Toad.


RDBMS: Strong knowledge of PostGres and Oracle. Good to have: SQL Server, Teradata, Hive, Snowflake, MongoDB, etc.

Design and Programming Skills:

SQL, PL/SQL, T-SQL, DAX, NoSQL, Shell Scripting, MS SSRS. Experience with tools such as Oracle Forms, Intellimatch, MS Access. Exposure to cloud tools: AWS, Google Analytics, SiteCore, WordPress.

Methodologies & Frameworks:

Familiarity with TOGAF for architecture design and DAMA-DMBoK for data management. Design methodologies including ER models, hierarchical models, and canonical models.

Soft Skills:

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Self-motivated, collaborative, and proactive. * Strong leadership and mentoring ability.
