Principally responsible originating debt capital markets and syndicated loan transactions for financial institutions (i.e. insurance companies, banks, asset managers, etc), corporates and other issuers in South-East Asia (Singapore, India, Indonesia). This will entail working closely with the originators as well as various constituents internally, but especially Coverage Banking and with Syndicate.
The Associate role is in support of senior Originators.
Key Responsibilities
Work closely with Coverage Banking, Syndicate (bond and Loan), Credit Research and Trading to identify, market to and obtain mandates from major Financial Institutions (\xe2\x80\x9cFI\xe2\x80\x99s\xe2\x80\x9d), Corporates and other issuers in Asia. The professional will be responsible for originating all types of debt across the capital structure, including all kinds of loans, senior unsecured, green and subordinated debt/capital.
The professional will have specific regional and sectorial responsibility as defined by the Head of Debt & Credit Markets, Asia. The scope of these responsibilities may change over time. Currently, he has been assigned for the South East Asia area (Singapore, India and Indonesia).
This position may entail frequent travel to clients, generally in conjunction with coverage banking.
Educate coverage banking and appropriate credit / rate sales force to ensure a sufficient market expertise; working closely also with the local GMD managers when and where appropriate.
Promote CA-CIB\xe2\x80\x99s general global loans and bond capabilities to the market at large through proactive marketing. Improve the general awareness of and confidence in our capabilities internally amongst banking/coverage, sales and trading.
Maintain appropriate knowledge to ensure to be fully qualified to undertake the role. Complete all mandatory training as required to attain and maintain competence.
