Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and responsible Driver to assist with the timely delivery of food products using a van or lorry. The ideal candidate will ensure safe transportation of goods and uphold high standards of service.Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a mini van or lorry for food deliveries to various locations.
- Load and unload food items, ensuring products are handled with care.
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain the cleanliness and basic upkeep of the vehicle.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
- Ensure that food items are delivered in good condition and within the specified time frame.
- Assist with checking delivery orders and ensuring accuracy.
- Valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license (Class 3 or equivalent) with a clean driving record.
- Experience in driving vans or lorries, preferably for deliveries.
- Familiarity with local routes and areas.
- Punctual, dependable, and able to work independently.
- Ability to lift and move food products during loading and unloading.
- Able to work 5.5 days (8.5 hours to 9 hours)
