: This role is for maternity cover of 5 months. Position Title: Delivery Manager, R&C Managed Services Reports to: Associate Director, R&C Managed Services When you join Dow Jones you become part of one of the most dynamic news and information companies in the world. Job Summary The position sits within the Risk & Compliance Managed Services group, a team that offers screening and remediation services to our clients globally. We screen individuals and entities against Dow Jones Risk and Compliance content and/or Factiva negative news. The Delivery Manager, R&C Managed Services prepares, executes and delivers screening and remediation projects to our clients and acts as a point of contact for Sales and our clients based in APAC, EMEA and AMER. You will work with project teams based in Europe and the US which requires you to collaborate with different parties across different time zones. In this role you will also be responsible for ensuring quality across all reports the team delivers, tracking KPI’s and providing training to stakeholders if and when needed. This role requires a high level of ownership and independence, critical and creative thinking and excellent organizing and communication skills. Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise independently with Sales and Clients to obtain and clarify project requirements
  • Communicate regularly with Sales and Clients to gather feedback and arrange necessary actions/follow ups if needed.
  • Ensure that clients receive clear, responsive communication to queries relating to the Dow Jones screening, reviewing and proofing process and its content across the regions; and that requests from clients and potential clients are dealt with effectively, consistently and timely.
  • Be a key representative of the R&C Managed Services team in dealings with clients, particularly strategic clients, working with partners in Sales and Product
  • Provide quotes and assist with RFPs, SOW and any contractual documents
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives and agreed timelines, as well as overseeing the entire screening life cycle
  • Facilitate training to remote teams and internal team members on screening/remediation practices and procedures
  • Responsible for developing methodologies and processes relating to report intake and delivery and client/sales communication in agreement with the Manager, R&C Managed Services
  • Perform quality control on any work done by counterparts and project teams
  • Independently carry out false positive reviews on alerts returned from screenings
  • Track and document KPI’s
  • Review end-to-end processes to identify opportunities for improvement and automation
  • Responsible for planning resources for screening projects and for any large ad hoc projects together with the Manager, R&C Managed Services
  • Together with the Manager, R&C Managed Services, work with Product for assessing product enhancements based on internal or client feedback.
You Have
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
  • Hands-on experience working with very large datasets, including statistical analyses, data visualization, data mining, and data cleansing/transformation
  • Experience with conducting data collection and analysis using Excel
  • Handled projects independently along with managing client/sales relationships
  • A strong sense of urgency by responding immediately to escalated issues and rapidly changing priorities
  • Ability to work in a deadline oriented environment
  • An openness to different views and opinions and an appreciation for team diversity
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
  • Experience with Factiva, Dow Jones Risk and Compliance (or similar products) are considered an advantage
  • Experience with project management
  • Fluency in English is essential
  • Ability to maintain attention to detail and accuracy under pressure situations
  • Motivated, results driven and able to work independently and be part of a remote team
  • Must be a proactive self-starter who values personal accountability and ownership, and thrives, working under limited direction
  • Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with senior management
  • Strong problem solving ability coupled with the ability to make decisions autonomously
