Job Description

• Develops an effective Material Replenishment Plan for all inventory materials, taking into account historical usage from past 3 months average and same period last year and with conscious consideration of the shelf life of each material.
• Monitors and Manages Inventory by regularly checking for aging inventory, slow moving, non-moving. Ensures damages and vendor returns are handled accordingly.
• Helps negotiate for pricing through volume leverage; ensures fair and cost effective allocation among multiple suppliers and brands while abiding by the quality standards set up R&D department and QA department.
• Close coordination with Marketing and R&D departments for LTO products to ensure timely launch and supply availability. Promptly flag for any discrepancy between actual and forecast volume to manage possible inventory write off due to excess inventory.
• Ensures sustainability of supply by closely monitoring inventory movement, promptly flag possible stock out and help coordinate with purchasing team to address such issues as early as possible.
• Helps in Data Management by ensuring only active material codes are maintained in the system, no duplication and confusing codes and conversion.
• Helps develop processes and controls to ensure achievement of goals within the department

Job Qualifications

• Graduate of any Business course or Industrial Engineering.
• At least 3-4 years work experience in the related field is required for the position.
• Communicates effectively and has strong presentation skills.
• Works independently and has the ability to do multiple tasks
• Learns quickly and has strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Preferably with work experience in Food or FMCG industry.
• Willing to work in Makati City.
