Our client is a Trading MNC company, one of the leading players in the Oil & Gas sector. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Demurrage Analyst to be part of their team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the Central - easily accessible.
Role Description
Oversee demurrage exposure for Gasoline desk trade, analyzing and negotiating payables and receivables.
Prepare demurrage computations and submit timely reports to relevant counterparts.
Ensure prompt collection of outstanding claims and track incoming funds.
Collaborate closely with cargo operators for efficient claims file management and documentation.
Generate weekly/monthly demurrage status reports and handle monthly demurrage accruals.
Coordinate with the contract desk on purchase and sales contracts, focusing on delivery nomination, Laytime, and demurrage clauses.
Verify and endorse freight invoices for approval/payment.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in relevant fields.
Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience in oil & gas industry.
Good communication skills and able to work in fast paced environment.
