Duties & Responsibilities

Help patients feel comfortable before, during and after dental treatment Assist in providing patient care information and instructions prescribed by Dentist to patient e.g. Post op instructions, oral hygiene instructions To assist the dentist during dental procedures, providing proper instruments and assistance to facilitate patient care Prepare and setup dental procedures for patient arrival ensure all instrument trays, materials and equipment are ready To assist in taking and developing dental diagnostic x-rays Lab Tracking, Casting, Impression, Retainer Fabrication Check, pouch and sterilize instruments/ instrument sets Ensure proper disinfection and maintenance of dental chairs, equipment, working surfaces and instruments Ensure Clinic rooms' materials are sufficient of sterile instruments / instrument sets for daily use Assist to handle and manage patient's feedback Report any incidents such as malfunction, defects or loss of instruments and equipment promptly Stock take and informing in-charge of inventory running low. Ensure proper inventory and storage of all instruments and supplies in accordance to first in, first out (FIFO) principle Any other duties assigned by Clinic In-Charge / Manager

Requirements

Proven experience as dental assistant Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods Understanding of health & safety regulations Good computer skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Good customer service skills Good team player Ability to learn fast Excellent communication and people skills Attention to detail Well-organized and reliable Good command of the English

Qualification

GCE 'N'/'O', Higher/NITEC Minimum 1-year experience in Dental Assisting Required Skill(s): dental assisting, nursing, customer service, hospitality, admin, healthcare Preferably junior executives specialized in Healthcare - Nurse/Medical Support & Assistant or equivalent.

Salary: $2,300.00 - $3,500.00 per month
