Job Description

Date: 06-Jul-2022 Location: Kent Ridge Campus, SG Company: National University of Singapore

1) To provide administrative support in the teaching laboratories in Faculty of Dentistry. This would include, but may not be limited to,
i. Compiling requests for new/replacement purchases for dental equipment, instruments and materials needed by the laboratories. This may require sourcing for quotations and also preparing the necessary procurement-related documentation to facilitate such purchases.
ii. Maintaining an updated inventory of dental equipment, instruments and materials in the teaching laboratories.
iii. Ensuring that dental equipment are scheduled for regular maintenance and support the adhoc needs for repairs by liaison with external vendors.
iv. Verification of invoices and other related financial processes which may be needed.
v. Liaising with external stakeholders (e.g. external dental laboratories; suppliers of dental equipment) when needed.
2) To support undergraduate teaching in the dental laboratories by assisting Module Co-Ordinators and Laboratory Technologists to prepare necessary materials and resources. 3) To perform any other administrative duties as assigned to ensure the smooth running and operations of the teaching laboratories.

Qualifications

• Diploma holder
• Diploma/cert in Dental Laboratory Technician would be an advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Proactive individual with a positive work attitude
• Able to work independently
• Good written and communication skills
• Able to work well with others
