We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Department Manager to lead our Counter Unmanned Defence Department. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing customer requirements, leading system integration efforts, and delivering mission-critical solutions. This role demands a deep understanding of CUAS technologies and strong leadership to align business objectives with operational delivery.

Customer Engagement & Requirement Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and stakeholders.
• Collect, analyze, and translate customer operational requirements into actionable technical specifications.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through consistent engagement, updates, and post-delivery support.

Systems Integration & Delivery

• Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of customized CUAS solutions.
• Coordinate with internal engineering, software, and hardware teams to deliver fully integrated systems.
• Oversee vendor management and subcontractor engagement for system components.

Business & Project Leadership

• Develop strategic plans to grow the CUAS business segment.
• Lead proposal development, pricing strategy, and bid submissions.
• Prepare business cases, schedules, and financial forecasts for new initiatives.

Operational Readiness & Critical Event Support

• Maintain operational readiness to deploy and support CUAS systems during critical security events, including emergencies.
• Be prepared to work extended hours, weekends, or holidays during high-stakes deployments or events.

Compliance & Documentation

• Ensure all activities are compliant with relevant national security regulations and export control laws.
• Maintain proper documentation of system designs, integration work, and client correspondence.

Qualities We Value

• Knowledge in Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in Defence, aerospace, or security technology sectors, with at least 2 years in a managerial or program leadership role.
• In-depth knowledge of CUAS technologies, radar, RF detection, jamming techniques, and multi-sensor integration.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proven project management abilities (PMP or PRINCE2 certification is advantageous).
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to rapidly changing operational needs.
• Familiarity with military or law enforcement operational environments is preferred.

• Candidates with more experience may be considered for senior role.
