The objectives are to build a strong positive narrative for Singapore football, and to restore trust and credibility through a combination of below approaches: (1) to offensively build strong narratives and advocacy for Singapore football, effectively engage key audiences and stakeholders; (2) defensively address negative backlash and scrutiny, given that expectations run very high, football is a topic of strong passions, patience is short and frustration is palpable. Roles and Responsibilities : \xe2\x80\xa2 To masterplan the national conversation and communications on Singapore football through the development of an overarching short to long term strategy to shift the existing negative public sentiments on football into a strong positive narrative. \xe2\x80\xa2 To map the key internal and external stakeholders and design an intervention plan to leverage off the key stakeholders. Strategise the use of these key stakeholders, including vendors, comms teams from SportSG, FAS. MCCY and other agencies, in order to allocate to each stakeholder their roles and responsibilities. \xe2\x80\xa2 To lead the development and implementation of all strategic internal & external communication strategies and plans to promote awareness, strengthen positive branding, reputation, and public image for UTR! \xe2\x80\xa2 To orchestrate public and media communications, including crisis communication and support management of critical emergency responses. Work closely with Senior Management to resolve complex communications issues, such as providing crisis communication counsel and device media strategies as required. \xe2\x80\xa2 To supervise the engagement of stakeholders to plan and create the pipeline of content, ensuring consistent relevance, impact and quality. \xe2\x80\xa2 To direct the overall editing and proof-reading of copy writing of all marketing & communications materials (both for traditional media and digital channels) for regular engagement and communications with internal and external stakeholders. \xe2\x80\xa2 To lead the media comms and publicity efforts, including coordination with SportSG SMT and MCCY, for events hosted by UTR!/ involving key UTR! POHs and stakeholders. \xe2\x80\xa2 To serve as the key strategic adviser to POHs / ministries with high impact communications cases \xe2\x80\xa2 To helm the development of a thorough understanding of the local football ecosystem (both public and private sectors), identify and map UTR!\'s strategic stakeholders, key personalities & audiences for high-impact engagement. \xe2\x80\xa2 To choreograph and provide oversight of the development and implementation of strategies and plans to proactively engage and build positive, long-term relationships with critical internal and external stakeholders to promote alignment and commitment towards UTR!\'s vision and mission. \xe2\x80\xa2 To supervise and work closely with the team on the implementation of related initiatives (such as regular football conversations with key stakeholders, and also effort through digital platforms) to strengthen engagement and develop loyalty and support. \xe2\x80\xa2 To formulate the work on potential new stakeholders\' engagement and maintain existing collaboration and relationships. \xe2\x80\xa2 To lead and front the external high-stake partners for the team (including key personalities, organisations and vendors). \xe2\x80\xa2 To steer the team, including the key internal and external stakeholders, to achieve UTR!\'s goals and objectives. \xe2\x80\xa2 To manage team members\' performance and facilitate their learning and development to achieve the desired performance expectations and career growth. \xe2\x80\xa2 To establish strong collaborative relationships with other teams to create alignment and synergy. \xe2\x80\xa2 To manage the team\'s communications & engagement budget with financial prudence yet ensuring effectiveness. \xe2\x80\xa2 To perform any other duties as assigned by the Executive Director or higher management.What we are looking for:We are looking for self-motivated individuals who value integrity, teamwork and take pride in going the extra mile to provide excellent service to stakeholders and the community. This individual should be a sport advocate through living an active lifestyle and staying active. In addition, an ideal candidate should possess the following: \xe2\x80\xa2 A Bachelor Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Business Management, Sport Management or equivalent \xe2\x80\xa2 At least 15 years of hands-on communications & engagement experience (preferably in both public and private sectors), with at least 7 years of relevant experience in leadership-oriented role \xe2\x80\xa2 Has past experiences in setting up new departments or organizations will be an advantage \xe2\x80\xa2 Has good knowledge and understanding of Singapore\'s local sporting system, especially football is a plus \xe2\x80\xa2 Has project management and vendor management skills to lead project/initiative design and implementation \xe2\x80\xa2 Has the ability to manage risk and ambiguity, define scope and manage multiple priorities \xe2\x80\xa2 Has strong communication, crisis management, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Is a detail-oriented, results driven, team player and value integrity \xe2\x80\xa2 Is a hands-on leader The level of offer will commensurate with applicants\' experience and track records.
