Job Description


What the role is:As Deputy Director (Marcoms), you will be part of the Corporate Communications team of the Communicable Diseases Agency Planning Office (CDA PO). You will work on the marketing communications strategy to support the establishment of the Communicable Diseases Agency. The CDA is a new government agency that is being established by the Ministry of Health (MOH) to oversee Singapore\'s communicable disease preparedness, prevention and control, surveillance, risk assessment and outbreak response. The CDA PO\'s role is to plan and execute the setup of the CDA, which will consolidate and build on the public health functions under MOH, the National Centre for Infectious Diseases, and the Health Promotion Board. Public trust is crucial in managing current and future public health threats and this trust can be built through effective strategic, media and marketing communications. Hence this role leading the Marcoms department within the Corporate Communications division will contribute to building the mindshare of CDA as the voice of authority in communicable diseases, build up the branding of CDA locally and internationally, and educate the public on communicable diseases and preventive measures so that they can take appropriate actions to protect themselves and their communities. You will assist the Director in the following roles: \xe2\x80\xa2 Lead the Marcoms team in managing corporate branding and development of corporate publications and corporate collaterals \xe2\x80\xa2 Drive development and implementation of social media strategy and content development, managing CDA social media channels and CDA corporate website \xe2\x80\xa2 Lead the development and implementation of national public education campaigns and management of vendors for national public education marketing campaigns You will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time.What you will be working on:Job responsibilities: \xe2\x80\xa2 Drive roll-out of annual national public education campaigns utilising media, digital media, and out-of-home channels \xe2\x80\xa2 Drive procurement of vendors for media buying, creatives and market research for national public education campaigns \xe2\x80\xa2 Track overall usage of tender contract and effectiveness of national public education campaigns in reaching CDA strategic communication objectives and campaign objectives \xe2\x80\xa2 Drive development and implementation of annual social media strategy, in alignment with annual CDA communications strategy \xe2\x80\xa2 Drive content development of all CDA social media pages and edit content for all social media posts \xe2\x80\xa2 Drive content development for CDA corporate website to ensure that it provides up-to-date information and is the go-to site for communicable diseases content \xe2\x80\xa2 Edit all content to be uploaded on corporate website \xe2\x80\xa2 Track user engagement and other metrics of CDA corporate website and across all social media channels \xe2\x80\xa2 Drive corporate branding and development of corporate publications like annual report and development of corporate collaterals like corporate brochure and corporate video and corporate giftsWhat we are looking for:Job Requirements: \xe2\x80\xa2 Minimum 12 years experience with the government sector, healthcare institution or a medium to large organisation preferably handling social media, website, content development, marketing communications, with relevant team leader experience \xe2\x80\xa2 Resilient team leader and player \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent communication and written and editing skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities \xe2\x80\xa2 Able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with tight timeframes \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent stakeholder management, leadership and interpersonal skills As part of the shortlisting process for this role, candidates may be required to complete a medical declaration and/or undergo further assessment.About Ministry of Health:The Ministry of Health\'s (MOH) vision is to champion a healthy nation with our people - to live well, live long and with peace of mind.
