The Deputy Director, Finance & Administration oversees the overall management of SPCA Singapore's administrative and financial processes. The appointed candidate will also lead a team responsible for the full suite of human resource, financial and administrative activities.
The responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Providing guidance to Executive Director and Board on strategic business directions by conducting financial planning, analysis, forecasting and advising on options for development.
Ensuring financial integrity and accountability by maintaining all internal controls.
Developing strategies for resource allocation and monitoring budget utilization.
Generating timely financial statements and profit and loss reports to the Board.
Developing yearly budgets in consultation with the SPCA Management team and Board.
Managing Finance and Administration staff to ensure performance management and compliance to all regulations and processes.
Coordinating and leading the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors and the Finance sub-committee.
Improving the HR and Administration by enhancing staff's professional development, compensation and benefits, performance evaluation, training, and recruitment processes, supported by HR and Administration staff.
Implementing a robust contracts management and reporting system.
Updating and implementing all necessary business policies and accounting practices to improve the Finance department's overall SOPs.
