The Deputy Director will play a key leadership role in the Digital and Information Technology department, supporting the Director in managing the organization's technology infrastructure, systems, and operations. He/she will take responsibility in overseeing various aspects of the IT, driving strategic initiatives, managing teams, and ensuring efficient and effective delivery of IT services. He/She will also oversee the IT general control and IT audits.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist Director in developing and implementing department's strategic goals and objectives aligned with the organization overall business objectives; Contribute and develop IT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure the alignment of technology initiatives with best practices and industry standards; Oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT department, ensuring the availability, reliability, and security of technology infrastructure, systems, and networks; Review IT operational procedures and processes to support efficient service delivery and incident/problem resolution; Leads, manages and mentors a team of IT professionals of different backgrounds; promoting collaboration, and ensuring effective communication and coordination; Identify training and development needs, providing opportunities for skill enhancement and career growth for team members; Manage projects progress, identify and mitigate risks, and resolve any issues or challenges; Perform outsourcing management to ensure that contractual obligations are met and projects needs; Manages vendor relationships and ensure vendors fulfill per contract requirements; Manage IT procurement, evaluate vendor proposals, make recommendations for vendor selection and procurement decisions; Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and industry standards regarding data privacy, security and IT operations; Contribute to the development and maintenance of IT governance frameworks and policies; Participate in audits and assessments, providing necessary documentation and addressing findings and recommendations; Provide regular updates and reports to Director, covering Director to provide senior management and relevant stakeholders during his/her absence; Foster positive relationships and effective communication channels; Maintains and updates the quality records according to the standard guidelines on identification, filing, storage, maintenance, and disposition of these records. Covers duties of fellow colleagues in their absence Performs any other job related duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

Recognized Professional Certificate /Diploma/Advance/Higher/Graduate Diploma PMP Certification or CITPM More than 10 years of working experience with at least 5 years in managing team, with track record of managing complex IT operations and projects Preferred to have managed IT projects related to healthcare domain Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, and emerging technologies Excellent Interpersonal and leadership skills to manage multiple projects at one time with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment Good knowledge of project management both waterfall and agile include managing contracts, project budgets, work breakdown structures, and systems integration Strong strategic thinking and problem solving abilities Familiarity with IT governance frameworks and compliance standard Excellent verbal and written communications skills to present project status to senior level management Good skills in MS Project, MS Visio, MS excel and other job related applications
