JOB DESCRIPTION Our client is actively searching for a Deputy Director, Admissions (Marketing/Outreach) to join their team!

This is a senior position in the Office of Admissions, responsible for leading a team to support the Director and strategize and drive outreach and recruit quality students for the university\'s undergraduate programmes. The role may include the following:

The responsibilities of this role are:

• Analysing admissions statistics and relevant student data in order to identify and target the right profile of undergraduate students for the university; and develop informed strategies and effective programmes that drive their enrolment
• Working with internal stakeholders across departments, faculty and students; and with external partners to conceptualize and implement the outreach programmes; and to track and measure their effectiveness
• Planning and organizing university-wide events and engagement during the admissions cycle to help drive application numbers and acceptance of prospective students
• Reviewing the effectiveness of university-wide outreach programmes and financial tools/schemes in attracting students
• Supporting Faculties/ Programmes in their market-specific strategies
• Coordinating with the Marketing team on outreach campaigns and events and in line with the admissions cycle to maximize the reach to specific target groups of audience, both locally and overseas
• Representing the university to conduct admission talks on/off-campus and during overseas recruitment trips when permissible
• Providing operational support during admission exercises, including reviewing applications, interviewing shortlisted applicants
• Overseeing the engagement and retention of pre-accepted and pre-enrolled students
• Supporting and contributing to the development and implementation of university initiatives through participating in cross-department committees and taskforces where appropriate

The ideal candidate will need to have the following qualities and experience:

• Possess a recognized degree from a university
• Have at least 10 to 12 years of working experience in a business development, account management and strategy role
• Experience with data analytics will be preferred
• Possess the ability to work independently and ability to multi-tasked
• Possess strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Be creative and able to challenge norms, resourceful, a goal-getter, driven, independent and a good team player
