What the role is
As part of the Sectoral Transformation Group in IMDA, the SMEs Go Digital Division aims to make going digital simple for SMEs. With digital technology transforming every sector of Singapore’s economy, it is essential that our SMEs have the digital technologies and capabilities to seize growth opportunities in the digital economy.
What you will be working on
You will lead the Performance and Engagement teams to: 1. Chart the SMEs Go Digital programme’s strategies (e.g., Start Digital, Go Digital, Grow Digital), including: • Ensuring that the programme’s long-term goals, policies and strategies, as well as immediate priorities, are aligned with broader IMDA, MCI and WOG priorities; • Putting in place a sound data collection framework and using the data to derive useful insights for programme and operations design and monitoring; and 2. Manage the marketing communications of the SMEs Go Digital programme, including: • Developing the overall marketing communications strategy for the programme, in partnership with other Divisions and government agencies that carry related initiatives; • Providing directions for SMEs Go Digital launch events, aligned with the overall marketing communications strategy and calendar; and • Building the Division’s networks with other partners within and beyond the Public Service, to scale outreach to SMEs more effectively; 3. Steward the Government’s resources used to implement SMEs Go Digital initiatives, including: • Putting in place adequate governance frameworks and processes so that the Division’s use of resources stands up to public scrutiny; • Accounting to senior management and other stakeholders for the performance of the SMEs Go Digital programme; and • Ensuring that the Division is adequately resourced to meet the goals of the programme.
What we are looking for
• At least 15 years’ relevant project management experience, with at least 8 years in a supervisory/managerial role • Experience with government or industry transformation projects • Excellent leadership, communications, consulting & negotiation skills • Experience in facilitating multi-stakeholder engagement • Proven project & people management skills
