Main responsibilities:

Work with stakeholders and subject matter expertise to develop relevant R&D policies and strategies that are aligned with Singapore’s economic and national agenda
Translate strategies to key action plans and funding initiatives (national research platforms) to achieve desired outcomes
Present plans and funding initiatives to organization Leadership and external stakeholders for approval
Monitor and prepare progress reports of approved proposals to internal and external stakeholders (e.g MTI, EDB, ESG and NRF)
Develop Innovation & Enterprise policies / guidelines to support mission and objectives of national research platforms
Support the leadership on special assignments and projects

Job requirements:

Degree in Engineering/Science preferred.
At least 5-8 years of working experience in either research, grant administration, strategic/corporate planning or relevant roles
Excellent team player who is good at problem solving
Good organisation acumen, excellent communication / writing skills and interpersonal skills to engage internal and external stakeholders
Dynamic and self-motivated individual who is a system thinker
Meticulous, well-organised, detail-oriented
