Oversee daily financial operations, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR) and receipt and insurance team.
Manage and develop a team of finance staff which includes setting performance goals, conducting evaluations, and provide coaching and mentorship
Review work prepared by team members to ensure accuracy and compliance and assist with any issues faced by them
Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all deadlines are met and financial data is accurate
Identify opportunities to streamline financial operations, enhance efficiency, and reduce errors
Lead/Support the implementation of new systems, tools, or automation initiatives to improve accuracy and timeliness in
Monitor internal controls and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
Review finance processes on a regular basis to ensure compliance of established policies and procedures
Monitor and manage company cash flow, forecasting, and liquidity
Support external audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting
Represent the finance operations team in cross-functional meetings and projects
Assist in any finance related projects
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
4-5 years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics Business Central).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
