Roles and Responsibilities

Global Terminal Investment Strategy & Execution

Lead the entire lifecycle of global terminal investment projects, from market research and opportunity identification to due diligence, negotiation, and completion of acquisition. Develop comprehensive business cases, financial models, and risk assessments for proposed terminal investments, ensuring alignment with ONE's risk tolerance and capital allocation strategy. Drive negotiation of definitive agreements (e.g., SPA, SHA, TSA) with external parties, optimizing terms for ONE's benefits.

Strategic Partnership Development

Build and nurture strong, long-term strategic partnerships with global terminal operators, financial institutions, and other key stakeholders to co-invest in or secure preferential access to critical terminal assets.

Market intelligence and analysis

Conduct extensive research and analysis of global terminal market trends, competitive landscape, regulatory environments, and technological advancements (e.g., automation, digitalization). Evaluate potential challenges/risks associated with global terminal investments, including geopolitical, operational, and contractual factors.

Internal & External Collaboration

Act as the central point of contact and subject matter expert for all global terminal investment initiatives within ONE, facilitating cross-functional collaboration with P&N departments, regional offices, finance, legal, and HR. Manage relationships with external advisors (e.g., consultants, legal firms, financial advisors) to ensure efficient and effective due diligence and deal execution.

Requirements

Minimum 15 years of experience in the shipping or logistics industry, with a strong focus on:

Corporate finance


Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)


Joint ventures


Terminal operations/investments
Proven track record in leading and executing complex international M&A and investment projects Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, especially in project finance and M&A valuation Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills (both verbal and written) Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities and mitigate complex risks in a global setting Capable of managing multiple tasks and working under tight, competing deadlines * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
