About the role:

The Deputy Head of Communications and Partnerships assists the Head of Department by providing strategic leadership and overseeing operations in communications and branding, fundraising and donor management, partnerships, and volunteer management. This role is pivotal in enhancing the organization's visibility, stakeholder engagement, and resource mobilization to advance its mission.

Responsibilities:

Communications & Branding: + Develop and implement integrated communications strategies across digital, media, and stakeholder platforms.
+ Strengthen brand identity and ensure consistency in messaging to resonate with diverse audiences.
+ Lead media relations, including proactive outreach and crisis communication.
+ Advise programme and service teams on effective communication strategies.
Fundraising and Donor Management: + Drive strategic fundraising initiatives and campaigns to support organizational sustainability
+ Ensure cohesive messaging across fundraising efforts and key events
+ Cultivate and manage donor relationships, including stewardship, engagement, and reporting
Partnerships: + Develop and manage partnerships with corporates, government, and community, and evaluate partnership outcomes for impact reporting.
+ Represent the organization in networks and cross-sector platforms to enhance visibility and support
Volunteer Management : + Lead and oversee the volunteer strategy to recruit, train, engage, and appreciate volunteers across programs and services
+ Build a strong volunteer culture and systems that support long-term involvement and impact
+ Oversee and manage volunteer management activities across Fei Yue programmes and SG care centres

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Non-Profit Management, or a related field. 7 years in communications, partnerships, or fundraising, with 4 years in a managerial role. Proficiency in digital communications, brand management, fundraising tools, donor stewardship and volunteer engagement Strong strategic thinker, excellent communicator, relationship builder, visionary and purpose driven leader
