What the role is:
Deputy Manager / Lead Specialist (Partnerships)
What you will be working on:
xc2xb7 Lead efforts to assess the external environment and identify strategic sectors, trends, and opportunities that align with Temasek Polytechnic's growth priorities.
xc2xb7 Drive the development and execution of cross-departmental initiatives that span corporate engagement, research, innovation & enterprise, and international partnerships.
xc2xb7 Develop and implement branding and outreach strategies to strengthen Temasek Polytechnic's visibility and reputation as a preferred partner for industry collaboration.
xc2xb7 Curate and shape partnership opportunities for key accounts, academic schools, and multi-polytechnic collaborations, ensuring alignment with Temasek Polytechnic's institutional needs.
xc2xb7 Clearly communicate Temasek Polytechnic's value proposition to external partners, while engaging internal stakeholders to drive successful collaborations.
xc2xb7 Lead or participate in negotiations, including multi-polytechnics agreements, ensuring a sustainable relationship with all parties.
xc2xb7 Independently lead projects and work with relevant stakeholders to design and implement initiatives that deliver good learning outcomes for students and professional development opportunities for staff.
What we are looking for:
xc2xb7 Strong understanding of the needs and expectations of industry in the context of higher education.
xc2xb7 At least 5 to 8 years of industry engagement, business development and/or private/public sector collaboration experience. Candidates with fewer years of experience can also be considered.
xc2xb7 Proven ability to build and sustain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including industry leaders, government agencies and internal stakeholders.
xc2xb7 Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively in both written and verbal forms.
xc2xb7 Experience in branding, content development, and strategic outreach to drive engagement.
xc2xb7 Demonstrated capability to manage multiple projects and initiatives from concept to implementation.
xc2xb7 Agile, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
