What the role is:Being part of the team responsible for Sentosa Development Corporation (SDC)\'s procurement function, the job holder will undertake work in executing tendering functional role, advising business divisions on procurement procedures, and supporting the Procurement team in innovating and driving procurement excellence through policy improvement, digital transformation and capability-building initiatives.What you will be working on:The job holder will have the opportunity to take on a combination of the different areas of work as follows: \xe2\x80\xa2 Conducting end-to-end tendering processes from preparation to award of tender, in accordance with policies and procedures to meet procurement objectives, include engaging business divisions to understand business needs and formulating tender requirements; \xe2\x80\xa2 Advising business divisions on procurement and contract management policy-related queries; \xe2\x80\xa2 Supporting Procure-to-Pay reviews to streamline procurement policies, processes, forms/templates; development of guides and resources to aid users in navigating procurement for greater agility and ease; \xe2\x80\xa2 Supporting the implementation of digitalization and data analytics efforts (e.g. automation of procurement processes, digitizing forms) for greater operating efficiency and procurement performance; tapping on data to study trends and gather insights; and \xe2\x80\xa2 Supporting knowledge sharing and communicating of procurement policies and initiatives to internal stakeholders to enhance procurement awareness and competency.What we are looking for:

• Good Bachelor\'s degree from a recognized tertiary institution \xe2\x80\xa2 Minimum 8 years of experience in procurement; previous experience in public sector procurement preferred \xe2\x80\xa2 Conversant with GeBIZ or other electronic procurement application systems will be beneficial \xe2\x80\xa2 Good critical thinking, analytical, planning and organization skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Self-driven, resourceful and committed individual; able to work independently and within teams \xe2\x80\xa2 Good written and oral communication skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to engage with people at all levels; good interpersonal skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Meticulous and concerned with details
