Job Responsibilities:

Review and analyze tender documents to determine project scope, technical requirements, and key deliverables. Source, request, and evaluate supplier quotations to ensure alignment with project specifications and cost efficiency. Manage tender clarifications by compiling queries and coordinating communication between vendors and clients. Perform quantity take-offs and cost estimations for Mechanical and/or Electrical systems based on tender drawings and specifications. Prepare technical and commercial proposals, including presentation materials for client meetings. Review contractual terms from clients and vendors to ensure compliance and highlight potential risks. Coordinate and manage multiple tender submissions, ensuring timely delivery in a fast-paced environment. Liaise across departments to ensure smooth handover from tender phase to project execution, adapting to cross-functional transitions as needed.

Job Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field. At least 5-8 years of experience in tendering, cost estimation, or quantity surveying within the construction or M&E industry, specifically in Electrical and/or Mechanical trades. Proficient in reading and interpreting tender drawings, specifications, and technical documents. Strong knowledge of cost estimation, quantity take-offs, and budgeting processes.
