It facilitates the development of infrastructure, adoption of technology, and upgrading of skills in the financial industry.Join us now, if you have a genuine interest in making an impact to help shape Singapore's economic and financial landscape.What you will be working on:You will be part of a team responsible for the supervision of investment intermediaries such as fund managers, REIT managers, trust companies and securities crowdfunding companies. You are expected to develop a good understanding of their operations, risk management practices and conduct-related risks and mitigating measures. You will also need to keep pace with new developments and business models in the investment management industry.As part of the supervision team, you will carry out firm-specific risk reviews, as well as thematic or industry analyses to monitor the conduct of the intermediaries and identify emerging trends or risks that could pose a threat to MAS' objective of promoting safe and sound intermediaries, and transparent and fair-dealing intermediaries. You will also participate in on-site inspections to assess the effectiveness of the intermediaries' risk management systems and internal controls and the adequacy of their market conduct practices.In the course of your work, you will have opportunities to review existing requirements, rules and regulations for the investment management industry to ensure they remain relevant.
