About the jobYou will contribute to the profitability of the Interest Rates Derivatives and Structuring activity by proactively managing client interest rates flows, offering interest rates hedging solutions to clients, and designing and structuring EMTN, managing associated interest rates risks, and ensuring the development of the framework, in respect to market and credit risk limits.You will manage the creation of structured products with the appropriate type and pricing to meet market and clients\' strategic financial objectives and needs. You will monitor the performance of structured products and recommend relevant improvement and adaptations.You will advise/ price structured products for clients, as well as design, price, execute and hedge Structured products issued under the EMTN program or under IR hedging solutions to clients.You will develop new payoffs and products based on the client\'s strategy and needs and will work with internal teams to translate clients\xe2\x80\x99 needs into the existing structured products. You will compile reports of all stakeholders\xe2\x80\x99 needs and product recommendations and will evaluate structured product performance.You will propose adaptations to the existing products based on client feedback and will source the origination opportunities, as well as gather market intelligence from the various channels and sources on new issues, competitors\xe2\x80\x99 deals, volume information and valuation benchmarks.You will conduct market analysis to understand the updated trends and prospective clients\xe2\x80\x99 needs, as well as prepare pitch books and marketing presentations for origination. You will review the underlying deal documentation and provide the secondary market to EMTNs where applicable, and proactively manage the existing stock in particular with reference to calls.You will manage the risks and regulatory matters, compile information on developments in relevant laws and regulations and perform due diligence on investment opportunities including market research, risk-based modelling and third-party report analysis.You will work with the legal teams to complete the required documentation and ensure adherence to all financial risk limits set by the Head Office.You will adhere to the FX Global Code of Conduct and all other internal and external regulations at all times, and will ensure trading procedures are governed within the set trading limits. You will price the initial CVA (Credit Valuation Adjustment) and FVA (Funding Valuation Adjustment) for new derivatives or structures, and monitor new developments in that space in the market.You will manage the interest rates derivatives pricing and trading and monitor the market for news, potential disruptions and opportunities. You will conduct pre-trade analysis and trade verifications, as well as price, execute and hedge interest rates derivatives clients flows.You will execute trades based on the orders received and will manage the residual risk positions. You will manage the pre-execution hedging coordination for syndicated flows and will contribute to profitability and efficiency of the Derivatives desk and contribute to profitability of the Interest Rates Derivatives and Structuring activity.You will maintain and develop pricing, risk and ad-hoc systems linked to the activity (Lexifi, WASP, replacement Numerix, CVA simulation engine, etc.) and will assist in preparing presentation/ data for the desk/ dealing room.You will provide cross coverage with the Money Market desk for daily business activities and will assist ALM in maintaining and publishing pricers for liquidity cost spreads including EMTN issuances spreads. You will also price long-term funding cost and premium.Pre-requisites

  • Minimum Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or its equivalent
  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience in interest rate products (can be in the sales of interest rate products)
  • Completed the relevant CMFAS and FMRP module examinations
  • Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and has sound technical knowledge of financial products
  • Able to keep abreast of new or existing products and understand the changing needs of clients
  • Able to work under pressure, both independently and in a team environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
