Job Description


Responsibilities:

  • To attend weekly progress meetings (minimised, not for the entire meeting duration)
  • To attend weekly design and technical meetings
  • To attend RFI meetings and facilitate the discussion between the main office people with the Contractor
  • To attend other meetings/issues related to clarifications/changes, cost implications
  • To manage Contractor\'s submissions, assign person-in-charge for reviews and responses to RFIs
  • To review method statements submitted by the Contractor
  • To carry out sanity checks on the comments and responses to RFIs before issuing out
  • To issue out the comments to and responses to RFIs
  • To set priority of shop drawing submission to be reviewed based on the urgency with respect to construction progress
  • To screen through submissions in order to minimise works provided by the main office



Requirements:
  • Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering or its equivalent that is recognized by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience
  • Good knowledge of the various engineering design software and analytical tools
  • Involved in project management with design coordination experience will be considered as well
