To attend weekly progress meetings (minimised, not for the entire meeting duration)
To attend weekly design and technical meetings
To attend RFI meetings and facilitate the discussion between the main office people with the Contractor
To attend other meetings/issues related to clarifications/changes, cost implications
To manage Contractor's submissions, assign person-in-charge for reviews and responses to RFIs
To review method statements submitted by the Contractor
To carry out sanity checks on the comments and responses to RFIs before issuing out
To issue out the comments to and responses to RFIs
To set priority of shop drawing submission to be reviewed based on the urgency with respect to construction progress
To screen through submissions in order to minimise works provided by the main office
Requirements:
Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering or its equivalent that is recognized by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore
Minimum 5 years relevant experience
Good knowledge of the various engineering design software and analytical tools
* Involved in project management with design coordination experience will be considered as well
