The Opportunity:

• Permanent Role
• 5 day work week
• Work location: Island-wide

Adecco is partnering with a renowned transportation and railway company where the selected candidate will be involved in oversee a diverse range of complex railway and tunneling projects and manage the overall electrical & mechanical systems and services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the full life cycle from drafting, evaluating, negotiating and executing various contracts.
The Job:

• Your responsibilities will include designing high-voltage power systems, railway traction power systems, and low-voltage reticulation schemes.
• Establish engineering standards, manage and participate in tendering processes, oversee site supervision, testing, and commissioning, and review technologies for road and rail infrastructure, applications, and buildings.
• Maintaining and updating engineering standards, design criteria, performance specifications, and technical requirements for various systems, such as air-conditioning and mechanical ventilation, fire protection, plumbing, sanitary and water services, tunnel ventilation, lifts, and escalators.

The Talent:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or related engineering disciplines
• At least 2 years of experience in designing and supervising of mechanical systems, high voltage and low voltage reticulation schemes
• Knowledge of a railway environment and relevant experience in designing traction systems and supervision of mechanical systems/services will be an advantage.
