Responsibilities:
Conceptualize, develop, and design mechanical, automation, and structural systems based on project specifications and client requirements.
Prepare 2D/3D models, fabrication, and assembly drawings using CAD software (SolidWorks / AutoCAD).
Perform design calculations, feasibility studies, and simulations to validate concepts and system performance.
Develop and maintain detailed engineering documentation, including bill of materials (BOM), technical drawings, and design reports.
Participate in assembly, testing, installation, and troubleshooting of prototypes or equipment.
Conduct analysis and design of structural components in compliance with local codes and standards.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure coordination between mechanical, electrical, and structural systems.
Ensure designs meet safety, quality, and budgetary requirements.
Support project execution and provide on-site technical assistance when required.
Stay updated on latest engineering tools, technologies, and industry standards.
Perform any other engineering-related tasks as assigned by the Design Manager or Project Lead.
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in
Mechanical, Industrial, Civil, or Structural Engineering.
Minimum
3-5 years of relevant experience
in
automation, semiconductor equipment design, or structural engineering
.
Proficient in
3D CAD design tools
(SolidWorks / AutoCAD); knowledge of design software such as
ETABS, SAP2000, or SAADPRO
is an advantage.
Good understanding of
material handling systems, mechanical design principles
, or
structural load analysis
.
Experience from industries such as
semiconductor, marine, oil & gas, aerospace, or R&D
will be an advantage.
