Job Description

:

Prepare size calculations, schematic diagram design, P&ID diagram, and layout plans Follow up on P&ID including quantification of Pipe line number in P&ID, Technical Specification as well as MTO, in standardising with material code

Prepare Isometric spool/ assembly drawings, piping instrumentation diagram (P&ID) and other engineering data using engineering common network, software and tools Work closely with Process, Mechanical, Electrical and Instrument disciplines, and Quantity Surveyor

Coordinate with site team, subcontractors and consultants on technical issues and design solutions in meeting project deliverables

Participate in project meeting, attends to basic technical queries and issues related to piping design and reviews the deliverables (i.e.BOM, high pressure piping, piping corrosion, and etc.)

Develop interfaces for systems, sub-systems in piping design Generate detailed calculations, analysis and solutions for mechanical design

Requirements:

Minimum of Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, or related engineering disciplines

Minimum 8 years of experience in the design.

Knowledge of user of Microsoft Office products and design software's (i.e.AutoCAD, STAAD, PDMS, Cadmatic, Ceaser II, Tekla, Naviswork and etc.)

Experience in the interpretation of piping diagrams, spool drawings and its elements to deliver class approved documents and drawings.

Knowledge of engineering analysis techniques and tools/software applications (i.e.3D modelling software).

Ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

A responsible, self-motivated, meticulous and resourceful team player with good organisational and communication skills.
