Job Summary: Design Engineer, PV (Solar) - SY1

• Company background: Energy as a Service Provider
• Working location: North
• Working days & hrs: 5 days Mon - Fri, 8.30 am - 6 pm
• Salary Range: up to 4500 + AWS + VB

Primary Responsibilities

• Carry out site visits to verify roof layout and electrical connection feasibility as per required design.
• Solar PV Design and Engineering with good engineering practice and in compliance with regulatory codes relevant to solar PV installation.
• Provide 3D modeling and shading analysis using Google Sketchup or equivalent software.
• Sizing and selection of system components including but not limited to the basic components.
• Prepare PVSyst simulation report.
• Prepare Bill of Materials and budget costing.

Requirements

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering/Clean Energy/Renewal Energy or equivalent.
• Knowledge in solar system design.
• Experienced in Google Sketchup or similar 3D modeling tools.
• Experienced in PVSyst.
• Knowledge in project management will be an added advantage.
