Design Engineer
Job Description
Engineer possess a good design experience in design development ideally related to precision tooling, machinery or mechatronics assembly project realization, working collaboratively with cross functional teams internally and externally.
Engineer understands basic physical & mechanical principles, various manufacturing processes and technologies particularly in moulding, stamping, machining, adhesive etc and engineering research & development through analysis, prototyping & testing.
A well-rounded mix of experimental, theoretical and design skills. Aptitude in hands-on prototype lab work, including but not limited to debug, test, assembly & measurement jig design; commission the company's product, jigs and fixtures, customized semi and fully automatic machines or assemblies.
Solid experience in fundamentals of geometric symbols & dimensions
Tolerance stack creation and analysis
Proficiency in 2D CAD and 3D modelling with other tools such as PDM, PLM etc
Duties and Responsibilities
1) Apply engineering principles to draft, design, modify, reverse engineering and develop new products
2) Intuitive in mechanical movement, function and performance.
3) Responsible for precision tools, jigs & fixtures, mechanical design
4) Project coordination to meet customer expectations and product specifications
5) Manage design activities from planning phase to final acceptance
6) Maintain and perform proper documentation controls complying with ISO9001:2015
7) Attend customer feedback, issue of quality defects and modification improvement.
8) Check engineering drawing, material/ quantity are reported to the customer specific work requirements to all relevant manufacturing processes
9) 5.5 day work week
Job Requirements
Requires a Bachelor's degree or diploma in the field of manufacturing, mechanical or mechatronics engineering Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience Demonstrate operations and technical skills Good analytical, project management and machining techniques Good interpersonal and communication skill and coordination work Meticulous, Independent and possess good organizational skill & planning control abilities

Pay: $2,800.00 - $4,000.00 per month
