Job Description

:

1. Assist and support the Project Management team in project execution:


Prepare shopdrawing and design calculation report such as cable sizing and etc Liaise with client on technical requirements Liaise with consultant or authority for the approval of design Provide technical support and advice on design and engineering to the project team Assist project team with technical advice to installation team
2. Assist and support the Business Development team in tender or proposal submissions:


Conduct site survey and prepare feasibility study report Perform technical assessment such as Shading analysis PVSyst simulation, consumption analysis and etc Prepare tender documents for submission Prepare costing for commercial proposal
3. Review shop drawings/proposals from contractors or vendors and provide comments in accordance with authority requirements and local/international standards


4. Evaluate the contractor's performance in terms of design and installation as part of the quality control process


5. Understand the technologies and products available in the renewable market and provide support to other teams


6. Follow up on authority requirements and provide compliant solutions


7. Liaise with new and existing vendors/suppliers to obtain updated price lists and information on products and services in coordination with the procurement team


8. Liaise with other teams to gather feedback on design and costing for continuous improvement


9. Provide engineering support to other regional teams


10. Ad hoc task assigned by the reporting officer

Job Requiremen

Minimum Diploma/Degree in Engineering field (Electrical engineering background would be an advantage) At least 2 years of working experience in renewable industry Proficient in engineering drawing interpretation and adept at applying requirements to design effectively Familiar with Autocad, PVSyst and Sketchup * Quick learner, goal-oriented team player with strong communication and troubleshooting skills
