RHVAC Design Engineer

S$3,000-4,500/month (basic) + performance bonus

Work Hours:

Mon-Fri, 8:15am-6:00pm (occasional OT)

About the Role

Join a specialist RHVAC team supporting projects across refrigeration, heating, ventilation and air-conditioning. You'll handle end-to-end design and provide technical support from survey through commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

Design RHVAC systems, including heat-load calculations and air-duct layout Conduct site surveys/inspections; prepare reports and materials lists Produce drawings and manage installation, testing and commissioning deliverables Prepare quotations in line with technical specifications and client requirements Liaise closely with Commercial/Sales and Operations on cross-functional projects Coordinate among site, office, clients and suppliers; support field work as needed Provide equipment selection, quantity take-off, and cost estimation Other duties as assigned to meet project and safety requirements
Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Refrigeration/HVAC Engineering (or equivalent experience) At least 2 years' experience in RHVAC systems;

marine industry exposure preferred

Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycle theory, line components, circuit flushing, refrigerant recovery, pressure testing and vacuuming Proficient written and spoken English for technical documentation and client communication Able to produce material take-offs and labour estimates; sound technical writing skills Collaborative, organized, and able to work independently; coaching/mentoring mindset Bonus: Familiarity with AutoCAD and project scheduling software
