About the Roles

We are seeking a Design Manager (Facade / Building Envelope) to join a building and construction company based in Redhill. This is a permanent role with a 5-day work week, Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 6:00pm. The position offers an attractive package that includes

What You'll Be Doing

Manage project budgets and cost control measures to keep expenses within approved limits. Oversee projects from contract award through completion, ensuring timely delivery of final accounts. Develop procurement schedules aligned with design specifications and project deadlines. Source and liaise with subcontractors, evaluate quotations, and prepare subcontract documents. Record and monitor defects while maintaining proper documentation for variation orders (VO) and ensuring prompt submission of VO costs. Coordinate with the Project Manager on monthly progress claims and final account closure. Assess subcontractors' VO claims and confirm compliance with established procedures. Follow up on payment certifications for subcontractors and prepare payment advice for clients. Manage progress claims, payments, variation orders, and final project settlements. Carry out additional duties as required to support project operations.

What We're Looking For

Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline. At least 2 years of experience working as a Quantity Surveyor. Strong coordination and communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues, subcontractors, and suppliers. Ability to work independently with solid knowledge of local industry standards and requirements.
