Design Manager (construction, 6 Days)

Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Managing processes relating to the project\'s design to ensure everything is delivered within schedule and budget, working closely with Project Manager, Quantity Surveyors and other key members in the project teams.
- Experience/familiar with authority submission requirements.
- Reviewing and advising on designs, co-ordinate designs related matters with consultants and client, ensuring the designs meeting regulatory and legislative requirements.
- Ensure optimize design solutions in compliant with regulatory framework, contractual and buildability requirements.
- Chairing design meetings, writing reports and giving presentations.
- Conducting financial, technical and operational risk assessments and advising on risks, opportunities and potential hazards
- Liaise and coordinate with internal/external parties for design related matters for structural, architectural and M&E trades
- Oversee, review and manage progress compliant with construction standards, safety, time and cost objectives.
- Master/Degree in Civil Engineering Recognized by PE Board.
- Min. 10 years of experience in technical design in Structural, Architectural and M&E trades, include the ability to use design and project management software.
- Local building projects experience is preferred.
