What the role is:
The GRaduate Industry Traineeship Programme within the Public Service (GRIT@Gov) aims to provide fresh graduates with opportunities to gain industry-relevant skills and experience that can strengthen their employability to take up full time roles in the sector.
This traineeship offers a hands-on opportunity to support the Media, Arts & Design school in the areas of immersive game development and Virtual Production. Trainees will assist lecturers in developing learning materials for both areas, working on industry projects in these areas, as well as assisting in the management of Virtual Production facilities and equipment.
You will develop key competencies in:
- Immersive Game Development Support - Assist in prototyping, testing, and refining game-based learning experiences and interactive environments.
- Virtual Production Assistance - Support technical setup, operation, and troubleshooting of virtual production tools and workflows.
- Learning Material Development - Collaborate with lecturers to create engaging and pedagogically sound content for immersive and virtual production modules.
- Project & Operations Management - Help coordinate timelines, resources, and deliverables for creative and academic projects.
- Stakeholder Collaboration - Work closely with lecturers, students, and external partners to support project outcomes.
